Selecting
the best technology, is perhaps one of the smaller problems
to overcome, when you consider the inertia of people to change.
Yet it often receives disproportionate attention, when compared
with ensuring that everyone feels some ownership, and pride
in a new system. Most inertia is a symptom of fear, rather than
awkwardness. Overcome the fear, and the inertia usually evaporates.
Managing
change, is the key to success. Although it's more important
that key targets are met, than moving on to the next stage prematurely,
projects have to be completed in a timely manner.
By
working with your staff, I will ensure that changes we agree
will receive the best possible acceptance.
